The Sorreta 2002 Summer Vacation

After 10 long years of work-aholic practices, the Sorretas finally embarked on a long awaited family vacation. Armed with a rented caravan and a load of wholesale sodas and snacks, the family began their weeklong journey by leaving Las Vegas in the wee hours of the morning on July 7, 2002.

The Sorretas planned to take an ambitious vacation route which included the viewing of three states: Nevada, California and Oregon.

You may be wondering why this particular route was chosen. Why would they travel through the desert in order to make it to the coast? Well, the Sorretas had to stop in Reno because the two eldest - and most beloved - Sorreta children were calling that city home for the time being.

So now you know a little bit of the background of the trip and where the following pages will take you. So sit back, get comfortable and enjoy our little family trip album.

Lassen Volcanic Park - July 8, 2002

Harbor, Oregon - July 9, 2002 - July 12,2002

Eureka, California - July 12 - July 13, 2002
